Gift from Osiken. NUB Caf? range. Its pretty good and could easy smoke one on the half hour I get for lunch. If you like to lick the end before punching then brace yourself before doing so

A Fonseca something or other for me tonight.

Just lit it up and so far nothing special. Draw is pretty tight and strong tobacco taste. I'm finding as I get mor experienced, the smaller sticks just don't cut it now.

Will see how it develops before writing it off completely.

Perhaps you found a bad one? Smoked one recently. Very mild, smooth and nutty flavours for me.

Definitely wasn't mild, but it did get slightly less harsh after the first couple minutes. I think I was maybe holding onto the smoke for too long at the start, and the tough draw wasn't helping.
Maybe try a bigger ring gauge next time.

I'm noticing the same thing, i personally find them a little ruff and not as tasty!

Definitely wasn't mild, but it did get slightly less harsh after the first couple minutes. I think I was maybe holding onto the smoke for too long at the start, and the tough draw wasn't helping.
Maybe try a bigger ring gauge next time.

Very strange as its known as one of the mildest of Cubans. Perhaps you got unlucky.. Have smoked a couple and always enjoyed the mildness of the experience.

First Cuban I've had in a while and my first H Upmann ever. Draw was very tight, but I loved it nonetheless!

More so a problem with the holes running through it. The draw was spot on but, it just wouldn't stay alight!!
