Lovely smoke. Feb's COTM another belicosos that got tarry on me but only right towards the last inch so not a great deal lost.

Very enjoyable and the Sloe wine is lovely as well!

I lit up a Bolivar PC this afternoon who's wrapper was in poor condition when I got it but worse than that it was so badly plugged that multiple stab wounds from the piercer made no difference at all. The first two thirds were loose but the final third was like a dried up wad and the post mortem revealed several bits of stalk. Now moved onto a Hoyo petit Robusto.

I thought for a sec it was a royal selection not a super and you were pointing it out! Had to look up what I had actually bought to check!

So here's the HdM Short Robusto that had to step in for my plugged Bolivar. Not bad, nice nutty flavour but a hint of astringency. May need a little longer to round off the edges.

Damn shame about the Boli....don't hear of too many of those being plugged.
                    Bloody good replacement though.

No Shepp's were perfect, it was the first one I got from the MAW, at least it was partly smokeable, this one was blocked solid from the off

Yeah I remember mine was a gorgeous smoke from Sheppsea. That was when your gazebo nearly blew away wasn't it?
