The Hoyo Petit Robusto is just as nice, shorter but gets to the flavour quicker.

The robustos are good but I feel they need a bit of age (1-2years) in them to get the most out of them. Where as the epi 2 are good new.

                Trini Reyes for me tonight.
Although it is early days for me, I feel like I am finding my direction.
I thoroughly enjoyed this smoke. A fantastic experience for me tonight.

Been out for a beautiful valentines meal tonight with MLW. Enjoyed a stunning saddle of venison and finished the evening with a wee dram of Balvenie 15yo. Back home now and decided to sneak in the HUHC from Mattyhall from the cigar pass. Lovely way to finish the evening! Now where's that bottle of Talisker [emoji56]

Not tried any with age to them and Ive heard it recommended that they need at least 6 months. I do like to make sure that they're not too moist and have in the past let them breathe out of the humi for an hour or so before smoking. Would be interested to know how different the contents of the PR and the Epi 2 are.

If you liked that flavour then (if you haven't already) try the Cohiba Siglo II.

                          Part 2..
Siglo 1. Just over 12 months of age..

                          IMG_3397.jpgIMG_3401.jpg

Beautifully smooth & creamy, even though it fell apart towards the end..
Absolutely tasted supreme, after a few pints of Cider & then a nice biryani & a couple of pints of Cobra! Finished off after a quick walk round the block with the dog & then a nice Rum & Coke in the shed!
If Carlsberg did Valentines..A good night out with friends with a curry to finish

First cigar of 2015! Naturally I had to smoke all of it. It was a Punch TPC. Thought I might have some trouble with the nicotine after so many months of not smoking but it seems once you've got some tolerance it doesn't go away. Either that or it was particularly mild as a semi-vintage stick.

Its a Dominican Romeo y Julietas Romeo robusto, one will be winging its way to you when you get PMs to initiate you into the world of NCs. Bondage gear and duct tape will not be required before anyone else jumps in
