Thankfully there's an exemption in England for specialist Cigar shops where cigars and pipe tobacco can be 'sampled' indoors. These arent common in every town but luckily for me I have one within about a mile!

That is sad, it is like I can see into future, because this will happen next year here as well. There is chance that they will elect softer version of law, it means that smoking will be banned only in restauants which serve food, so pubs and bars without kitchen will be fine, but there is also hard version -they will ban smoking literally everywhere - parks, public places, all kinds of bars etc .. :-(

Hm... I am all for a ban on smoking indoors everywhere, except private property of course. But in parks and outdoor areas... If you go that far you might as well put tobacco on the same shelf as Cannabis and Heroin. (thank God most donors to political parties enjoy a fine smoke themselves so we don't have to worry about that)

Heavy cigar day, get them every now and then,
Started with a little Daniel Marshall Red Label Petit Corona, wanted something small because I was outside and it was cold. I was given this cigar at an event. Huge sweet taste of molasses coming off the wrapper when I put it in my mouth, like silage! The cigar can best be described as 'inoffensive'.
THen really enjoyed one of the 1907 Dunhill box press Toro, good cigar, medium flavour but seriously off kilter burn twice near the end and I was smoking this indoors.
Finally the Hoyo De Monterrey Regalos 2007 EL, well that's what it turned out to be, it was the blind tasting cigar at the JJ Fox blind tasting event. Got HDM but thought it was older. Nice smooth smoke.Nic
