Well, I just had my first Maduro NC. It was a Padron 3000 and extremely disappointing. Also experienced my first plug.

Started off a bit too harsh for me, then got a lot smoother half way through. Then the last thurs I hit a plug. Tried to massage it out, purge it, then the filler fell out. Binned it.

Bad luck there, I've had some of these and they've always been good. They are their cheap cigars though so don't expect a 1926! Don't give up on the brand, they have a lot to offer IMO buddy.

Yea of course, I tend to stick to cheaper ones for my midweek smokes. Not a big selection of Padron out here but it won't put me off them. I wasn't overly keen on it anyway so will try a different type next time.

The Oliva G Maduro Belicoso is worth a try before you lose faith in NC Maduros!
