Considering it was so cold I could only manage half I really enjoyed it.

I'm looking forward to trying another under more comfortable circumstances 😄

first / second bland ,final third the best with a touch of spice
IMO , much better Partagas out there
I had a very similar experience Wolfie. Very underwhelming if I'm honest. Nice presentation but all show and no go for me

I've read on some forums that those with the darker wrappers smoke more richly and flavoursome than those with the lighter which is what you would be expecting and if I remember rightly, how they were touted. Both in flavour and appearance. Something went wrong somewhere.

The marketing seemed to go wrong ,
The descriptions of these cigars seems to be way out , " full bodied " " d4 on steroids " " strong , powerful " all of which they are not , leading the customer towards disappointment ,
Im a fan of d4,s shorts p2,s lusi , the E2 is completely different , without the band i wouldnt have known it was a Partagas.
That said if it was sold as mild , floral and a hint of spice it then does deliver , bland was harsh as i was unfairly judging it against other Partagas i like .
I can see it appealing to customers who normally wouldnt buy the fuller flavour Partagas , but they probably wouldnt try them due to the description .
Its an easy cigar to smoke , no need to give it your full attention , its a bit like background music , its there and enjoyable , but not in your face .
This morning the aroma is lovely still , and to be honest i feel like lighting up the other E2 , maybe after the rugby tonight .
I guess its nice to have a milder lazy smoke for a change .
Ive smoked 3 which have been consistent , 1 left and gifted 1 to a mate who wouldnt normally smoke Partagas to see if it does appeal.

It's a Flor de Oliva Giant 10x66. Very forgettable and belongs in the 'novelty' section! I like big cigars and I was curious to try one of these to see what it was like (no massive expectations). Arf gifted me one and told me to be careful what I wished for!

I like fat ring gauges, but this is just ridiculous. 66 is just too big and I'd go far as to say it's actually uncomfortable..With the industry going for ever larger ring gauges for Cubans, it will be interesting to see where they stop, as this, IMHO, is too much...
