I finished the night off with a rare evening cigar and whisky last night. Noteworthy indeed.
The Cigar was one of the CoRo's I recently got. I ended up only keeping five from the box as my pal has his first proper humidor to fill. I'll be smoking with him which is good because the cigars are good.

The only issue was burn, the cigars seem a tad over humidified, towards the last third the moisture levels were impeding the burn and re lights were frequent.they're being kept at 69 so we will try again in six weeks. The flavour and smells were amazing. Best CoRo I've had in terms of flavour.
I paired it with a very large snifter of Jura Superstition which isn't one of my whiskies but was very enjoyable. A tiny hint of peat and loads of rich sweetness and a touch of something spicy or pudding like. Not sure how to describe it but it felt like a Scottish meal followed by tropical pudding if that even makes sense to anyone.
A very pleasant evening.
