    Bolivar Coronas Junior 4.375" 42RG FEB 14.

From the first box of cigars I bought and very lovely it is too. I have also gone back to cutting rather than punching.

    Any particular reason?

Funny you should ask but it was your comment in your holiday thread about the sore bit on your tongue and it being worse if the stick is punched that got me thinking about. When I was smoking I could feel the smoke all being concentrated on one spot. I think I enjoyed it when I first started cause it felt closer to smoking and as I have said before I went from 20 cigs a day to a few cigars a week (possibly slightly more). Cut cigars didn't feel like I was getting anything from them as there was no resistance to the draw. Tried cutting one at the weekend and thought hell this is pretty dam good. Felt like I was getting a fuller flavour all around my mouth so will be looking into a decent cutter now as I only have freebies from C.Gars and the like.

Its smoking great oskihen, send you a couple in the new year as I think we have spoke about them before. Or even better win the photo competition as there is one in there prize!

Thought I'd try one of the cheapies I bought from Belgium. Cubao from the Philippines. Says hand made. Wasn't expecting much. But actually quite a nice sweet, mild smoke.

Does anyone know why these cheap cigars go this colour?

It looks like oils coming through the wrapper. Does it feel oily?

I saw these in the DR and thought they were local. Its a bloody long way from the Philipines to import a cheap cigar.

I know there's more than one Cubao. One made by My Father that's all I've heard of.

It felt very papery at first then about half way down got a little oily.
Had it with cheapies before but machine made ones. Must be the cheaper or lower grade tobacco?

I suspect its hiding the name of a non-UK cigar vendor Mo

I think everyone has seen the pics with the logo and most people have got one.

In the man cave tonight, with a full fat coke & some chocolate. Very nice, easy draw on this one. Nice & mellow
Everyone needs a Selfie Stick to fully appreciate their Cigar time..I'm not sure that Merlin is happy though!!

Party D4. I'm absolutely knackered, I'm homesick and my iPhone got shut in the car door so now it's bent. Weirdly the screen didn't crack ... Anyhow, after today, only a D4 would do. Lucky I had one with me! Looks like Monday will finish well.
