Took this rather fetching looking number out to smoke today.

Only once lit did I notice this.

    Whats the verdict guys?

Beetles! Most on here will tell you to seal your sticks in sandwich bags/clingfilm and freeze them. It seems to work for them.

      A great big bloody hole

From the picture, it looks beetle-esque. Smoke away, as they're usually exit points. Might get a bit airy though

Mind you, with the cedar wrap, maybe it's still in there

Just the one hole and I have smoked past it no problems. Checked it against edamski photos and reckon I am safe. Been sitting in my desktop humi for a month or so and the rest of the sticks in there look ok

Did the cedar give any resistance when it came Off? it's a long shot but could it just be a conveniently beetle looking rip?

On closer inspection after posting and before smoking the edges looked in wards rather than out. Dented with something with a sharp edge. 99.99% sure it was physical damage hidden by cedar wrap. Still scared the bee jeezuz out of me though I can tell you that!

I have a chest infection so no cigars all weekend. Absolutely rubbish. Sitting here in bed feeling jealous

Pop yourself in cling film and freeze yourself for twenty four hours, that'll stop any risks spreading. Ah, no, that's for beetles, not chests

But seriously, that's crap. I had one for almost three weeks, yak So I empathise totally. Look after y'self.

Check all your other cigars for similar holes. Then take action if need be. If there aren't holes on the other residing sticks, keep a eye on all of them as often as poss for up to a week is say... Not a pro, but that's what is do.

All joking aside seriously take a look at your humidor Wigan and even empty it and look for evidence. Worth it now instead of finding your stock munched on [emoji4]

Only keep a handful of sticks in the desktop humi and they all look fine but will be keeping a close eye one them.

I really think it was just physical damage and not infestation in this case

                            Sunday 30th November

Not smoked in a while as the Mrs is trying to give up cigarettes, and me smelling of cigars isn't 'helpful' apparently!
A CAO Lx2 today, and a pint of piledriver! Lovely burn on the stick for being outside with a bit of wind.

Edit: the weather condition, not from me!
