The Cuaba range are very good
I have smoked the Divinos powerful little smoke
The traditional bit longer and slightly milder
The Salomones at the 1st stage quite a creamy mild smoke only an inch in so far
But am sure it will get stronger as it goes along
The Diadaima lovely smoke takes about 3 hours but very impressive and had lots of flavours as you go along

I found it really helpful (and still do) when trying to pick out certain flavours that I can't quite work out.
PeeJay recommended one and I printed it off, but never remember to keep it with me. I think I'm just one of those people with crap taste buds. I know the cigars I'm trying are different, sometimes very different, and I know if I like something (or not). If the flavour is obvious, I'm fine - at one point, I'd swear the My Father was like drinking an espresso - but anything subtle or complex and I find it hard to pick out the individual tastes. I only think about it because I want to be able to say why I enjoyed a cigar. Maybe it'll come eventually. To be fair, I'm the same with food. I can't identify anything except the most obvious tastes. It doesn't stop me enjoying great food, but makes it hard to tell someone exactly what it was I enjoyed about it.

I might try and have a fiddle to see if I can design one if I ever get the time with the UKCF logo, I'm sure someone on. Here would be able to get them printed.
Sorted mate saved to my phone cheers

It would be really useful (if you eventually identified the flavours) to make a list of these so that it could be added to the wheel.

Undercover - I think we all at some point have a "breakthrough" cigar where for the first time we actually understand what the hell people are on about. Hopefully it will be one of those in your top 25!

Oskihen - Where in Kent are you? My In-Laws are in Lordswood near Chatham and my Wife's Nan used to live in Ashford

Hoyo De Monterrey - Hoyo Du Prince..

                  IMG_2950.jpg

Very enjoyable whilst out walking the dog this evening, a little peppery that made me salivate during the smoke?
I noticed that with this one I felt like I had to spit a few times because of the saliva that I was producing!!

I'm with you completely on that! I know that I like it or don't but figuring out the details is the problem [emoji6] I guess it will come with time as I'm still so new to this!

The one flavour that did jump out at me while smoking a RASS ......... fresh salted popcorn and I loved it and has been my favourite smoke to date!

That wheel will be used to see if it helps [emoji2]

                        Fresh salted popcorn?

WOW never had that before, but like you I am but a newbie.
Not sure I would like it in a cigar, are you a big fan of popcorn generally?

I like cigars that taste of what I generally like, Sweet tastes, coffee, chocolate, nuts, pepper, leather...er...earth, wood?

Yeah maybe doesn't quite fit now I think about it, maybe just waffling on to get me through the night shift

Salted popcorn/salted caramel but yeah I like it a lot [emoji6]

I know it sounds weird but honestly it wasn't, I think if you like the sweet tastes you'd of liked the taste I was getting + probably have a better description than me but that's what came to my head [emoji3]

2 hours for me and my shift is done [emoji106]

Same here. May try and skip my usual dawn cigar. Mainly because its becoming that, a usual, too much like a habit than a hobby

It's a relief to read this Jim! I thought I could taste something like salted crisps or a salted snack last night, but figured people would think I'm mad if I wrote that!

You have my respect - couldn't do night shifts. Just got into the office myself.

I think you, Jim and me are about the same 'vintage' as far as this hobby's concerned? Or at least in terms of experience. I see you've written a few times how your taste has changed. I'm not sure if mine has or if I just haven't noticed it. Perhaps I'm destined to be a cigar philistine forever!
