It was really nice. Nothing spectacular, but I'd give it 'bright and tangy' - bit peppery at times, but nothing overpowering. It had a nice smell and the burn was even-ish. Not sure I'd say it was nutty. Not sure about the chocolate finish either. Neither comment is a fault because I enjoyed the overall flavour of the cigar and it could just be my poor sense of taste.

My one criticism (I really am out of my depth here) is that it felt badly rolled. When I squeezed the cigar gently, bits of it felt half empty, like there was nothing under the wrapper. I'm assuming that's not normal? However, it looked good - nice and silky, hardly a blemish.

All in all, though, it was a decent cigar which I would like to smoke again.

Yes, trying to. Many of them are toros or bigger so I don't always have time. Looking forward to the next one cos it's one of the 3 Cubans in the Top 25. Not that I'm overly fussy - so long as it's a good cigar!

That would spoil the surprise [emoji4] ... not that it's particularly difficult to look up it's the Boli Royal Corona! I've got one out of the box I bought a couple of months back - my first box of anything.

It has crossed my mind! Part of the 'game' is to see if they do get genuinely better as I climb the ranks, though I also realise it's down to personal taste.

I'd have to compare them as I go maybe going back and forth top to bottom then you could possibly compare what they've considered the finer ones but being in the so called top 25 they should all be nice

That's a good approach. I suppose part of it is just the military 'process obsessive' in me. Start at the top and work thru it til it's finished! However, I think I'll follow up your suggestion this weekend and jump up the scale - I'm thinking go for the No.1!
