I'm now wondering if better pacing and purging would have made for a better experience and changed my opinion? I'm just not sure there was enough about it I liked. I suppose I'm comparing it to the first 2 of the Top 25 I tried (Alec Bradley and RyJ Romeo), which I came away from thinking (obsessing!) about getting a box of each. This didn't grab me in the same way.

I'm really enjoying this whole Top 25 thing and I know I can't expect to like every single one.

Thank you! I'm making sloe whiskey this year as well. Made a small test batch last year, was superb!

I've been making slow gin and vodka for about the last 25 years but my direction changed this year when my mother bought me this book for Xmas last year more so she gets free booze herself . But highly recommend if only for the infusions

ended up being a late night & couldn't resist one of these. Its flavour was like, but less intense than the '01 Dip.3
