Where did you see that!?
But aye!
I've got two Electric Ibanezes. Sold my RG Prestige a while back because I wasn't serious about guitar. You plateau a bit and realise that you're never going to make anything big or even earn a living on it. So our band broke up and I stopped guitar related things all together. Jamming and teaching were fun and even made some small money - but it wasn't worth keeping up with what I needed/wanted to buy for a while.
It's now just a side hobby that 0% of my paycheque goes towards. Sitting at home with two Ibanez S series - one from 2007 - one from the early 90s. then an acoustic electric. Recently (4 years ago) got myself a banjo but have really been delaying learning it well.
Know want you mean played in a few bands years ago now just play at home nice way to relax , but need acoustics for that blasting out on an electric on your own isn't the same. still play at open Mic nights sometimes, clicked on your name by the way and it says some details about you .
I'd love to be a pro guitar player. Electric.
