I think this one really hit the mark..
    Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure no.2

Partnered with the Douwe Egberts smooth caramel coffee was a winner!
It lasted well over an hour, the coffee really complimented it well. However...I did have to take time out afterwards as the nicotine hit knocked me sidewards!! - I'm still to build up a good tolerance level on the longer smokes.
It didn't spoil the occasion though, very enjoyable smoke, I can appreciate the praise this cigar deservedly gets.

Party Chico out in the smoking shack, weather poor & this will be my last smoke until I hit the beach.

My first Don Pepin Garcia that I bought from PeeJay, so far beautiful. Nutty and chocolaty which isn't a flavour I usually pick up on

It's rich smelling but worryingly I'm getting a pre light taste of Peaty whisky which isn't my favourite. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1414487104.686098.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1414487127.611868.jpg

Peaty Whisky....My favourite....Did that come through while smoking too?

The cigar was rather one dimensional but in this case not a problem because it was beautiful all the way down.

I can see why you held some back for yourself PeeJay. Lovely smoke thank you for sharing them [emoji4]

Smoked a 2013 Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales - Tasty stick, ash white as anything. Wrapper just didn't want to burn! What a shame as smoking this little beast was more of a chore than anything. 87/100

No it tasted of TCP and chemicals to me. I am giving another peaty whisky a try soon, the Lagavulin 16 was way to medicinal for me. In fact if your a fan maybe you have something you'd like to swap for my bottle of Laggy? It's opened but only had a tiny dram taken out. I'm heading towards this next: https://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-1863.aspx
I'm hoping to get the smoke I love without the medicine? Unless you have other suggestion. I just can't get into that medical TCP taste but I want smoke. I love the Speysides (with or without sherry finish etc) and highlanders but yearn for more depth of smokiness.
Anyway I have the Lagavulin 16 if you fancy a trade for smokes or whisky.

To be honest buddy I've not got anything much to swap...There are so many I want to try...a friend of mine who knows more I remember mentioned I think Ardberg, Taliska and Caol Ila for a smokey taste.

That Dailuaine 16 looks and sounds nice to me.
