I have tried the Short too, but personally I preferred the Wide. That said, I've only had one Short, so perhaps I should try another.

Horses for courses, if you prefer Wide then they may just be more suited to your palate.

For example I had to ditch the Quai d'Orsay as I was getting strong cinnamon from it, whereas others may like that.

I have spent a couple of yrs getting my OIM (Captian) into cigars, I have given him a couple every trip that we see each other (cost price honest). This week awe are actually on together & he offered my a choice of Robustos & an hr off work to smoke one with him this afternoon. I took the Party as I haven't had one for ages & I brought the shandies. Smoking outside in the shack wasn't as pleasant as last month. The weather is picking up & summers long gone out here on the briny.

The long one crooked into his right arm was a Corona, from circa '99. It had been a long, dusty, ride into Habanotown. Just after sundown, he kicked back with a cup o' Joe, and smoked a while...
