Yep, Martyn sure can chat! Thanks for the hospitality and cigars mate, the humi will be in my den later. I can recommend the HdM petit robustos as an excellent morning smoke thank you.

Had one a few weeks ago, thought it was a fantastic early afternoon smoke.

HDM have become my absolute favourite brand, keen to try some more of there smaller smokes.

Keeping the Hoyo love going I sparked up an Epicure DeLuxe.
The photos don't do this baby justice, the most perfectly even rolled cigar I've seen.

Can confirm from personal experience Martyn has the gift of the gab, as the Irish would say Also that he is indeed an excellent host & probably why he makes such a good landlord/ Golf club manager. Petit Robustos were decried by many at the outset for burning too hpt (drawslowly) but indeed are an excellent shorrtt smoke.
Today, last day of Greek hols tried to catch up abit on cigars smoked. Started with a Punch Italian RE 2005, really nice & a Esplen' from pre-2003' ie olLD label. I punched, dble punched & then it but then gave up as too tight to smoke. Changed to a VRUnicos from 2001 gifted from fellow member Van. Great smoke in the beach, with whisky, ice & a little water. Hoping the Cohiba No 3 from the same era, will be OK tonight

One of the nicest cigars I've smoked this year. RyJ Cedros de Lux No 3. On a green band so pre-2008. Starts cider and cream fruits and becomes progressively more winelike with light wood notes towards the end. Strangely I got no impression of Cedar, but the wood wrapper must have done it's ageing work because the cigar was superb.

The cigar came as a single from Simon at mysmokingshop.co.uk last week along with some 03 un-banded Partagas SdC No 3. The Cedros don't get a lot of praise on here — but believe me if you can get a green bander you're in for a pleasant surprise!

                      Started with this

But didn't like it so moved onto this

Which was much better, but not stellar..
Think I need something else later, but don't know what to have...
