RyJ Short Churchill today. It is mine and Mrs M's first wedding anniversary today and the cigar I chose for my wedding night was the full size RyJ Churchill so the short one seems quite apt for today! It's smoking beautifully as always even though its fairly young (MAY 13). Still have 8 left from a 10 box which I shall keep a bit longer. Might make it my anniversary cigar for the next 8 years and see how it improves!

I'm enjoying a nice LBV port with it which is a great compliment IMO. I have the Steve Miller Band Greatest Hits on vinyl playing too. I'm starting to wish this cigar was the full Churchill as its getting near finished and I want more!

May 13 too young? Not necessarily. As the late, great don TJ used to say; "if it's a year of more, take it out the door." No doubt many of you remember ol' don TJ was always sayin' shit like that. But as a rule of thumb, once a puro gets passed the so-called "sick period," (generally one year) it is ready to enjoy. It is also true, however, that many puros will continue to improve with additional years.
