Por Larranaga Picadores. A fair bit milder than I had expected, but I think most of you will like them. Mine was quite loose rolled and the ash a bit untidy and flakey. As a purely unrelated thing, I don't like the new alternate red, white and gold band.
I've had a bit of a PL week, when I got the Picadores they smelt of newness and I was expecting something a bit fuller and untamed from the smoke, the sweet salty start was good, the draw was fine and the cigar settled into something like PC Lite mode. I think it's a nice cigar to a read book with or for beginners, it didn't engage as well as the PC or Encantos IMO. I'm not sure about aging, the mildness suggests it might be best to just smoke them and leave the aging for PC or Montecarlos, but hey I could be wrong!
