Smoking this amazing montecarlo with a black coffee, these have evolved over 2 weeks or this stick is just an anomaly; serious floral notes with honey and cedar occupying the 2nd third, final third is woody and chilli (like I am rubbing chilli oil on my lips at the end!!). This is just a sadly underrated puro; anyone who doesn't have any get yourself a box ASAP!

I'm not sure they are underrated - I've seen people across multiple forums raving about them

I will need to get ahold of some soon

Today's smoke. Not special in appearance, but it's been resting in the cooler-dor since it was sent to me by a friend in 2007.

Pre-cursor to Rocky Patel, I read that the name change was (supposedly) due to issues with the name being raised by Indian Motorcycles.

indians in North America and indians in the UK mean two COMPLETELY different things

Rocky Patel bought Indian Tabac and that's how he got into making cigars. Later he started producing higher end cigars and put his name on them. I'm not sure if there was a trademark issue or not, but Indian Tabac is still in production. This cigar is very mild and very smooth. It had never occurred to me that Indian Tabac was owned by an Indian.
