I'm easing myself back from a cold with something I'll definitely be able to taste, one of a whole pack of Toscano Cafe gifted to me by PJ along with one of the unflavoured long Toscano's. The pre light draw is like someone took a caramel latte and put it in a cold smoker overnight. Once lit those strong flavours are hugely dulled which is a relief. Its a very pleasant smoke, I do think I'll buy some of the unflavoured ones as the one John sent me smells very good. Is it a cigar, a cheroot or otherwise? I say cheroot but I also class a cheroot as part of the interest. Overall I'm happy to make this sticks acquaintance.

Reading reviews while smoking. Its amazing how very little they agree, one person gets one set of flavours another something totally different, makes me question the reliability or point if many of them
Not massively impressed with this, very strange flavours which have changed quite alot from the first few draws.
1/3 in i have a small bit of leather with a slight tangyness. Not massively fussed about this one but I can tell its very green, still had some harshness so think this could do with sitting for a while.

I mainly use it for that, identifying a flavour I cant quite place by reading reviews, most seem to throw woodsy, cocoa and honey into every single cigar they review, which I just don't see much.
Seems to have developed a bit more flavour in the second third and its benefitted from more liberal smoking tobring out some more flavours.

Heavy stick, very well constructed.
The cotton ribbon is a nice touch and actually adds to the feel of it whilst smoking.
Good smoke, but a very easy draw, so have to work at it - I straight cut mine, as I don't have anything else, but am getting a v cutter which I'll use on my next one.
Nice even burn.
The taste is sublime - but it's one I can't put my finger on.
Fantastic stick, just let down by the draw.
*edit* forgot to say - one of the best sticks I've ever had as far as how it feels to hold. Exemplary.

GHog, try higher humidity. I punched the one I had so didn't get a very free draw myself. Maybe they a bit dry from travel.

Draw should get easier with lesser humidity, higher you go the more the leaves swell and block the airflow.

If it is tight when low humidity then it could be down to rolling. Try dry boxing one for a day before you smoke it.

The problem is that they have a very easy draw not a tight one Smokey.

Had a L'Atelier LAT52 aswell. Construction okay, perfect draw. Flavours were pleasant enough, some butteriness with walnuts. Not amazing but decent enough. Of the NCs Ive tried so far, Id rate them

i prefer the antico toscano to the rest in my opinion they got more flavour cut them in half smoke one keep the other for another day.
Never knew the rollers wear gloves to roll these cigars.
