I got dragged to the in laws annual party but went forearmed with a RyJ wide Churchill which split like buggary and lost a load of wrapper but I managed to smoke it all

I also took a Don Pepin Blue Lancero but only smoked half because it was plugged

Even better I took a pack of La Aurora Principes in case anyone wanted to try one and ended up in a mini herf with a couple of guys.

The current Mrs T went on holiday with her mum yesterday so I had my first stick in about 3 months. SLR Regios from JUL 11 box.
Not had one of these for about 12 months and it wasn't as good as I remember. Spicy and woody but lost the sweet honey notes that I used to get. Also not as smooth.
I've read that these should be left for up to 5 years so it could just be in a sick period.

What a result (except the Don Pepin) usually when I go to family things the word cigar is banned. I was really looking forward to a special smoke this weekend but it wasn't to be. Full of snot and sore throat.

              Saturday 23rd August 2014

At a wedding all day yesterday. A little cold but no rain thank god!

I started with a H Upmann Connie no. 1 just after the ceremony.

Then onto a Plpc after the wedding breakfast.

Congrats on the new job mate

The pay rise is also going to be very helpful with our first child less than a month away!

Apologies for the self indulgent post!
                WELL DONE SEAN!
