It's how I smoke my Trinidads and other pigtails.

About halfway though, I punch it off along with the tar it's accumulated. At that point, a purge is needed. So I punch, purge, and the cigar is much fresher.

Had a great secretos provided by tommy. Maybe shouldnt have smoked it straight out of the mail, but it didnt seem to spoil it. Really great little stick, lasted an hour as well.

Well, I clipped a PL Secretos and sat back to watch the sprinkler do its thang on the garden, but the bugger was tight[emoji35].

Settled for a bowl of Nightcap instead as I couldn't be arsed to arse around with the PL.

my Rocky Patel 1990 vintage cigar was disappointing. It will be a while before I try something from that marque again.

Glad those are working out for you, I'd be interested to age a box for a few years. Others may not agree but I'm pretty sure it would have a positive effect. Sweeten them up a bit, soften the edges. I think that would make a good cigar great in this case.
