That's a concise review, liked it.

Judders; the wide Churchill I smoked has earned it a place on my box list, loved it !
Of course I'm smoking one of the Bolivars I got today. Mmmm!

So here are my thoughts on the Romeo De Luxe 2013 EL. I bought two of these from JJ Fox whilst I was in London on Wednesday. Kept in my travel humidor at 65 RH. Initial impressions very good - a very well constructed cigar with a dark wrapper and the two bands. 52 ring gauge by 6.4 inches, so a Double Robusto size if I'm not mistaken? Well packed, and upon cutting had an easy draw. Upon lighting, the first thing that struck me is the lovely room note. This is a very aromatic stick. Notes of wood and as I hit the first third, quite a spicy note on the tongue and palate. It's more full bodied than a regular RyJ, and this was evident as I smoked further. They are still very young, and I don't think they're anywhere near their best yet. It reminded me of the Dukes when they were young...No funnelling issues and no touch ups needed, but the cigar is far from balanced, and I think it is going to be a couple of years before these approach their prime. They get quite bitter and acrid towards the final third, but I think ageing will sort this out. So, in summary, very young, and if you can hold off smoking them, they should reward you for your patience! I am going to bury the other one deep in the humi and revisit in a couple of years....

Any good mate? Load still available over here but I've not had one for years and I don't recall if it was any good. I've asked everywhere for SLR Lonsdale but they're completely sold out

Very smooth so far Steve. Enjoyable, but not in the same league as the Sir Winstons in my humble opinion..

Cheers buddy. I'll maybe but a couple just to try. They're about 15E each so not work chancing a box until I've had one.
The problem with smoking here in Spain is the cigars are all very humid straight from the shops so they're not burning brilliantly. Most smokes I've had need a few relights!
