Coming up on half way and I have to agree with Jeremy. Full review to follow, but it's well constructed and started okay for five minutes. Has just turned pretty bland and earthy. Little else so far. Definitely not worth the cost.

PS. Thankfully my Short Robusto was stolen when some Cornish louts broke onto our charter yacht a couple of years back. Quite an eventful trip that was...

Started ok but was a little off best in all honestyImageUploadedByTapatalk1405460919.967352.jpgdisappointed to get a bad burn again and a split wrapper at the foot. Bitterness crept in at a third. Whether travel sick, bad batch or whatever this was not what I expect from a cigar of such high pedigree. With four years of age it should be superb but I'm fast going off the BHK 52. My money could be better spent. Sig VI tomorrow.

I know it's hard tommy but that's why a lot of people recommend such a long rest after delivery

Remember it is a hand made product and even the best smokes have their off days. I had a terrible monty sublime 2008 le. But that's the way cigars roll. IMHO the siglo vi is better value anyway. [emoji1]

I found some RG Lonsdales here in Barca so I bought a couple. I had my first ever today and it was urgent gorgeous.... Tempted to go back and get the rest of the box

Sooooo many rarities here.. If you know where to look. The usual touristy shops have no rarities at all but slightly off the beaten track and wow! Grandes de Espa?a, Diplomaticos 4, RyJ Prince of Wales, Bolivar Inmensas, ERdM Corona deluxe, SP Sanchos, Partagas Lonsdales, etc

There is absolutely zero stock of the Diplomaticos REs though....except if you get a hold of the owner of Gimenos who went into his secret stash and got me three boxes. Good lad

Sitting on the balcony now with a Monte 520. An absolute stunner. I had three already from a different box and they were all quite bland. Pleased to see this new box I've fired into is lovely
