I remember talk of almond awhile back. I can't remember if this was the cigar being discussed then but I am getting almonds with it along with pepper. It's not a big creamy plume of smoke but pleasant none the less. I'm going to check reviews for it but interested in people's thoughts on this cigar. -

2008 Diplomaticos No. 5. When they smoke well they smoke brilliantly .... this one was just that, brilliant. Ignore the side burn, wasn't the Dippy's fault, nothing could correct it, was just too bloomin' breezy out there in the garden this afternoon

I needed something strong with lots of smoke. And boy, was it!
Had a lovely walnut and dark chocolate touch. All it needed was a bit of creaminess and I would've had a walnut whip
