I think if you have burn issues you will still enjoy the cigar. For me they are good but not good enough to be priced above my beloved Sig 6. I learned yesterday that there is a LE version from 2008 of the Siglo VI. Anyone tried that? Sounds like it could be rather special. So I thought I'd get one and kablamo ?150 each! Well that was from one supplier anyway.

Got up @ 04:45 to drive to the Netherlands, assemble & inflate my Zodiac, fishing by 08:10. Within an hr I had my first Dutch pike of the season, a wee 3lb'er but a start & I was chuffed as I never caught any here last season.
Had 2 sticks wit me, if I didn't catch by after lunch, than I would smoke a Belinda Princess. If I caught then I had a handmade Party Aristocrat. So after lunch, I lit up the Party & paired it with Juplier Lite 3% (driving home after all).[ATTACH=CONFIG]17983[/ATTACH]

So after lunch the question was whether to move or stay put, [ATTACH=CONFIG]17984[/ATTACH]having an other hr casting jerkbaits, whilst having a deadbait out on the other rod, fished against a massive lillybed. After changing lures a dozen times since lunch, I was just watching a Spro Deviator approach the boat, mirrored finish, with rattle; when a massive pike shot from the left & hit the lure just one rod length out! It engulfed the 7inch lure & went ballistic. I managed to give some line & deliberately didn't land it as soon as I could have, as I didn't want it thrashing about in the boat. It leapt out & twirled on it's tail. It calmed a little & I slipped it over the landing net & brought it inboard.[ATTACH=CONFIG]17985[/ATTACH]
Unhooking was simple but the photos were pretty crap but I couldn't delay returning the fish any longer, so here's the best I got. Had a couple of wee cheapos my friend bought me back from Portugal. .. similar to backwoods. Wee short flavoured cigarillos called handlesgold, finished the day with a inka secret blue corona, down st the beach, definitely a reorder for price and flavour. Had the robusto a couple of days ago, also very nice.

Yes I think so. Confusion came from a picture I was looking at of some fakeass Cohiba Siglo VI LE2008 in a glass top box if 5 which popped up in a search I did. So the grand Reserva, anyone tried one?

not worth it. plain and simple. Montecristo Gran Reserva, Partagas Gran Reserva, RyJ Reserva = overpriced, overhyped amateur cigars.
i wouldn't buy any unless at Cuban prices.
Cohiba Gran Reservas are hyped by most people - mainly ones who have not tried them. people who have have never truly raved about them... probably give their prices, really.

same hope goes towards the H. Upmann No.2 Reserva.
But i will definitely get a box if i find them in Cuba, though. At 460CUC a box, it's a no brainer. Besides, the boxes are REALLY purdy. and you gents would take those sticks when they're 23USD each, no?
