So ill start the day on a rather negative note.

My brother in law brought these oddities back and as i thought would be a letdown and was. Machine made short filler loose draw and artificial sweetness got ditched after last photo

    To sum up NOT NICE

Phillie blunts are used to put weed in over in the states quite a bit I believe.

Butters may be able to tell us more

Due to work I won't be smoking for a few days now so went with something a little special today, a Drew Estate Liga Privada L40 Lancero. Having done my research I took it slowly with plenty of vanilla Coke and am happy to say have not suffered any ill effects from the nicotine. Full review in the usual place.

They are, you can buy the wrapper without anything in it to roll doobies with. Not that condone the use of mind altering substances. I'm all grone up now.

So, 2nd day back at work after Paternity leave and I'm starting to get back into the swing of things.

Thought I'd treat myself to my first cigar since Friday (hay fever has been too severe to venture outside since then) and I decided on the Chinchalero Novillo Torpedo just because it stands out amongst everything else in the humi due to the sheer thickness of it.

It had a nice smell of almond biscotti to the foot and after the cut a loose pre-draw with a slightly sweet, nutty taste.

Upon lighting it is quite loose and the quantity of smoke suffers slightly because of this but not noticeably so, burning a little unevenly but manageable.

All in all not a bad, albeit mild, smoke for a little over ?4, so I'll be giving others in the range a try.

I tried a few blunts when I was in NYC years ago, didn't know much about cigars then but knew I didn't like them.

Agreed, they are typical maduro chocolate goodness, not as smooth as a CAO but are UK accessible and cheaper.

Very little is as cheap as these and yet enjoyable.

Don't get me wrong they're not Reyes good compared to price/quality but they're good for ?4 a stick with how much you do get [emoji4]
