Just finished off the second of newly aquired RASCCs with a cup of Assam out on the back porch. They are rather nice for the size. Wouldn't describe them as petit mind you TJ

    Coloniales.

Started on the Coloniales box last night and i think i actually prefer these to the Reyes.Had another this morning just to confirm how good a cigar this is.

I think the bigger RG makes the Coloniales flavours more defined and the flavours seem more distinct than the Reyes.

I am now wondering if it would be worth setting a box past for a year and see how they age.

Would be interested if anyone has some older Trinidads and could give me feedback on how they smoke after a couple of years.

Funnily enough I had a Reyes in the garden earlier. Enjoying the sunshine again!

Mid-afternnon, I had an Indian Tabac Corona Maduro (Super Fuerte I believe). A strong cigar, but not in my kind of way really. Sin embargo, gracias senor loco amigo

And back to back, a JL no2 to finish off my smoking for today, I guess. Although I am going to take a RASCC out in a Petit Edmundo tube tonight as my wife and I are out for and you never know...

Last Hoyo De Monterrey No.2 from Whiskey77, before my box arrives from Cuba. Lovely day.

Glad you posted up the same cigar twice today Craig, I was going to smoke off two RASCC, but I thought I'd look sad. Like your self, I've really enjoyed the smaller smoke since getting them and if they're that nice, you can smoke as many as you like eh?

I had a few Coloniales earlier in the year and looking back, I don't think I appreciated them. I'd come off the back of 'fuller', sticks (such the PartyD4s) and I remember the Coloniales being a kind of 'sharper' taste if that makes sense? I'll look out for some smaller pack sizes and reintroduce ourselves I think.

Keen to boast - just smoked a freshly rolled hand made Cuban. Two in two days. Heaven (Havana) is a place on earth... I'm going to pass on the maid and get a cigar roller!

CJ,I thought the Reyes that Daverave sent me were a nice smoke; but IMO the Coloniales are way better.

I normally like a smaller Mareva Vitola earlier in the day, unless i have plenty of time for the Siglo V.The Coloniales fits the bill, and as you state you can get away with a couple of those a day no problem at all.

Had a lovely evening with my wife at She Brasserie in Kenilworth and sat outside with a stiff Turkish coffee afterwards. It would have been exceedingle rude not to have smoked the RASCC I brought out and they went together like a dream.

@Craig. Mm, I've not tried the seemingly popular Reyes yet, despite hearing so much about them. I'm a man of simple stock, but hope to expand on a small scale as the opportunity arises. I do like to the overall image of Trinidad though, and I reckon they have one of the best bands going (useless info)

That Brasserie looks nice mate, and you are right regarding the bands; the Trinidad band is cool as you like.

Try and get a hold of a couple of Reyes or Coloniales and give them a try.

Went to stay with friends in Stirling and went for food to this place . Great food, lovely place with an excellent covered, heated outside smoking area...I then nipped off to Dunfermline to see Biffy Clyro in concert then nipped back to Stirling to find everyone pissed out their heads...I soon caught up

                        1. Juan Lopez Panatella Superba
                        2. Trinidad Reyes
                        3. Partagas SD#1
                        4. Juan Lopez #2

Yeah, the brasserie: went there for the first time just after we got married (and spoke of it) and the gaffer plied us with shorts for about an hour. It was awful, not

Like I was saying, tried the Coloniales, but got to get 'round to the Reyes. Well, TBH, got to get 'round to the Coloniales again, as I don't hink I gave them justice
