Its a nice cigar, 2013 and could use some more age to soften the edges IMO. Lights well, but an uneven burn takes hold immediately after.

Its a rare day indeed that I get to smoke one let alone two cigars, this next one is amazing!!!!! Flores y Rodriguez Coney from a John Bomb. You've outdone yourself John, really liking this smoke. Now I understand what TJ was telling me about Maduro/dark wrappers being sweet and smooth. This flavoursome cigar is so smooth and soft that it hardly seems alight. It is however honey sweet and spicy, having spent a few weeks in my Spanish Cedar humidor it also has taken on that flavour too.
I've smoked some high end NC's but this is my current favourite to date.

Interestingly the taste is different with short puffs than if I do a double puff to get a cloud up. I'm finding I can appreciate the flavours better with a short cool puff.

Yeah, agreed that flavours change depending how hard you smoke. I'm a slow and easy advocate.

The benefit being you get more pleasure from it. I have been guilty of tearing through my cigars, especially if I'm drinking. I usually finish mine well before my mate does. I'm learning to take my time. By the way I looked through the "faces to names thread" definitely looking more dapper with no beard like John said and your lady is a cracker, well done, bloody good show Marc [emoji15]

To be honest I'd love a big bushy beard but sadly I'm one of those shaggy doo guys that gets a goatee and bum fluff so I've never gone further than long stubble. If only one could buy a better beard I'd go for a full set.
