Today I smoked the Vegueros Tapados that Monkey bombed
me with the other day. No idea how old it was but it was very much like a Choix Supreme to smoke and enjoyable. Nubbed this one for a change. Full review in the right place.

    Looks good PeeJay!

I'm looking forward to a Siglo 2 when I get in. Will be my first Cohiba so I'm really looking forward to this!

I'm going to an anniversary party in Southend tonight so I'll slip a Brickhouse Teaser in my pocket in case I get lucky

I was all set to smoke this Hoyo Du Gourmet with a 12 year Oloroso and a slice of Doux De Montagne....... Then a 99' Punch Petit Punch looked at me.

Good luck England, do us proud lads!

Arturo Fuente Exquisitos - A very "rustic" looking cigar, almost unfinished, dark wrapper but seemed to be just firm enough.

Slightly sweet, toasted taste on the pre-light draw, neither loose nor tight.

Then you light it and WALLOP, plentiful smoke and a big hit of pepper. Got spicier as I smoked it.

This is quite a lot of flavour for a cigar that sneaks in at just under ?5.

I am breaking out a RyJ Churchill Tubo which was a Christmas bomb from Simon Bolivar in 2006 or 2007 and which I only recently found in the bottom of my cooler. I expect greatness. I'll keep you posted...

Lit easily and smoothly. First draws utterly smooth and pleasing. Woody and leathery.

First 1/3 gone. Still burning evenly, with a flaky grey ash. Now with some pepper and licorice.

Standing outside The Arlington in Leigh on Sea escaping a mediocre band with a Brick House Teaser that is hitting the spot.
