Not really a cigar, but had to share this beautiful wine I picked up after this afternoon's smoke. It's a Dolcetto d'Alba by Cascina Fontana. I'll write up a review for the wine thread, but, as a pr?cis... Light, slightly floral, very soft tannins. Just delightful - perfect for a summer evening.

You with a sentence that included. Robusto and make it better isn't something I'd have thought would be uttered.

i don't take pictures of many sticks i smoke...

like my last RASS i had a while back and the countless Cohiba Robustos i've burned through in the past few months. i've actually no more of those gits lying around anymore... the RASS was annoying, CoRos, on the other hand: still prefer the Siglo III, but they're harder to come across. The CoRos normally come as bombs or sneak their ways into trades which is the main reason why i smoke them so often. Oh and they're one of the nice cheapsies i get in Cuba (unbanded Robustos off the table of rollers! )

but for the rest of the month, perhaps i'll just light up the Punch Northern Light i have in my humi and that'll be it... might as well stop now, Marc

Honestly, I would've loved this in a smaller, more smokable size. LOOK at how much I had left. if only the flavours could've been placed in a different shaper!!

                            (hint. tomorrow. hint.)

Had the Bolivar Britanicus I've had stored for about 5 months to celebrate moving into a new house. It was an absolutely lovely rich cigar. I had to use some packaging as a makeshift ash try though :-)
