Today I decided to try my first BHK 52. This was not one from the box but a single I bought elsewhere. It was stored at 65% and dry boxed for 24 hours. Why am I telling you this? Look at that fucking burn! Initial thoughts, delicious, lovely creamy nutty flavours and everything I expected. My wife and a couple of other folks I allowed to try it thought so too but the damned thing just wouldn't stay alight. It tunnelled from the start and after a few relights flowered as well. I just gave up on relighting it and you can see how much I left. Here's hoping the ones in the 2011 box burn better than this!

Ah mate that sucks big time, considering how patient you have been this is not fair! Bad cigar gods, bad gods!!!

Sorry to hear about the BHK52 PeeJay, must have been a right buzzkill.

Sadly, despite looking out of the window and seeing a glorious day and an opportunity to spend a lazy lunch with a Monte Sublimes soaking up the sun in the Cotswolds... What transpired was a day from hell... I've not done this much damage limitation in a day since I left the navy. A whole day of clearing up a series of fuck ups. (Please pardon the language). Hopefully the weather will stay pleasant for the weekend.

What a nightmare, hope you got to smoke something nice in the end.

I actually tried one yesterday with some Melange tobacco that smelt beautiful but like fruit teas it didn't taste anything like it smelt. Apricots, almonds and vanilla in case you were wondering.
