Herfing with our Belgian friends, a Coloniales '07 for me followed by a Carbon Copy Short from Paul's Humi. Hugo had a Manacudo churchill, & Ingrid, who gave up fags in Feb had her first smoke since one on my Secreatos & throughly enjoyed it. Wes had a Hoyo Palmas Extra but by hten my camera had died. Had a R.A Allones extra the L.E from 2011 I have never liked this cigar (why I bought a box I don't no) but after reading a few reviews saying they had come back round and were smoking great I decided to give them another go, I can safely say they are still shit maybe the worst cigar in my humis,will now leave them for years before I try again and see what happens

Thats a shame, I always really liked the look of them. Wanna trade a couple for something your more likely to smoke?

Jeza, yep the Colonials'07 was really good, never actually had a Trini with Champagne before but it paired remarkably well.

Plumes of smoke. Medium to mild. Perfect draw.
Cedar, toasted tobacco, hints of caramel.
Surprisingly a very VERY pleasant chilled out smoke with a latte.
I preferred it over the HDM Epicure No.2 by far.

I'm with you both. I much prefer the Epi 1 (but then again, I've always been somewhat ambivalent towards the Epi 2).

Yes, I found after sampling the No.2 twice, the no.2 is just too light for my liking.
Too light. The No.1 had a bit more substance to it. It was just a real pleasant smoke.
The sort of smoke you can easily enjoy without paying any attention to it.
I could imagine myself smoking one for instance at a BBQ, or out at the races, dogs or horses.

Guys, the Hoyo No2 is a lighter smoe but can be an excellent one at the right time & with 5yrs+ age. Smon G, if your used to smoking full bodied smokes yuou will find this one light but try it in the morning, with a coffee & it can set you up for the day

Yes, not too keen on overly mild cigars. Mild to medium upward are my preference.
Although a light smoke in the morning with a coffee, like you say, sounds very appetising!
Circumstances have permitted I be an afternoon or evening smoker (circumstances being the wife!)
