Good morning from Etaul?s, France. Long 7 hr drive from Calais yesterday but it's now worth it. Got a lovely patio to smoke on, in 20c warmth! Good coffee and a Trini Reyes, to warm up with.

Ok here goes, La Gloria Cubana Guilded Age.




Very nice looking cigar with a nice colour and shine as well as great build quality. Pre draw is rich and leathery with strong tobacco taste. The band will be coming off but as its loose it can wait for now.



Its a good start although in the last few mins I've started to feel like I'm coming down with a throaghty cold maybe. I'll persevere anyway for now.
Wine pairing is a Wirra Wirra Church Block Ozzy Blend.

Shit burn. Shame, the cigars nice! This is the only one I've had so it could be bad luck or bad treatment by me. Should of let it rest another week really but wanted something new today.

Burn is evening out now, the ash on the side that burned fast has hollows in it so I suspect an uneven roll at the foot is to blame.
