    Juan Lopez No2

I think this has become my top cigar (if I forget the existence of all Cohibas).

What a glorious smoke. Beautiful burn all the way through. Really satisfying dense brown exhaled clouds. Wonderful taste and aroma, and - very curiously - the whiff was just like a joint towards the end.

Like Stevieboy, I singed my fingers to take the joy to the end.

cj - Thanks for introducing me to these sticks.

Craig Whisk - They are in a fantastic state, mate. I'm interested in how long they rested in your humiidor because they are superb. I've ordered a box, and I'm going to have to ration my urges because I could almost chain-smoke these beauts!

Damn it, I neeeeeed to get some. And yes, Whiskey's storage is excellent, I wish I knew his secret, I love them at that kind of 'bounce'.

Glad to hear you have a nice direction Bryan, and new found stick-love

Yes ol Mr. Whisk I think has the luxury of sitting on his sticks (not literally, I must add) for a while and they get all lovely don't they.

I'm going to try to lay some down in my bigger humi - but I get too damned hungry and impatient.

            They are sexy!

Edited to add that at two or three points, the strong aroma and taste was pretty overwheming. Such strength! Not for a beginner smoker, I think.

But that is precisely what I seek from a great cigar. Something that tries to knock me out!

Some of the punch must be due to Whisky Craig's stogie stockmanship, Chris.

                  Der schottische Zigarren-Humidor-Obergruppenfuehrer.

                  aka The Empty Boxes Nutter.

I'm really going to give resting cigars in the humidor a proper go.

Not rip the dress off a new box and besmirch it with passion.

i had a JL 2 on the walk and really enjoyed it, not a hugely complex flavour but a bloody nice one all the same. that was straight from JJFox's

i dont think they were in the best condition, feeling the others in the box, they were rock solid and mine was just about passable.
oh well all i can do is buy a box and age them some

I bought both the #1 and 2 round July-Aug last year.

They were from early 08 Robusto and both the JL#1+2 sat for around 10 months in their respective boxes at around 75% humidity, if that`s any help.

Finished the #1 last time I was home, but to be honest I think I preferred the #2.Hope this helps.
