Sticking with the coffee theme I went for a Tabak Especiale robusto Dulce, very nice indeed, smoked down to the nub ( a lot further than the pictures )
Two today with an hours plus bike ride in between.
Dippy No 4 .... very nice, very tasty .... Punch Coronas .... smooth easy smoke, very relaxing, not your usual Punch profile and maybe a little one dimensional, but very welcome once I'd put the bikes away.
Have to agree with you there Monk's, I reckon 3yrs absolute minimum on the Monte No2, 5_7yrs better. I believe they can be sublime at 20-30yrs but they are too expensive for me to buy a box at that stage, just a humble oil worker.
Anyway, plently of fog in Aberdeen over the last few days. Should have gone offshore at midday but my check-in now 09:00 tomorrow. So stuck in a Travellodge last night, had to walk to the Marriot for dinner & breakfast. Got a bus into town & went to Neros for the free wifi & lunch, then went to The Old Skool House, for one of Sludgie's LfdeCano UK RE. Main problem ws the temp, even though I did a quick change in the Gents to more suotable clothing, it was still a grim 6oC. Shpuld have had the Joyetta instead, an hr+ was too long to be enjoyable.
The cigar, my first of this vitola, was a decent cigar, nothing like the rest of the brand stable imho but needs more time to mellow alittle more. Just lit it because I love getting paid for the occassional non flying day & having a beer & a smoke

Herf night last night with Alec Bradley. First off was a Padron Delicias maduro. Then moved on to a German RE. I was impressed with the RoMa Craft Intemperance. I decided to smoke the CAO Flat Head Spark Plug from last week along with a Oliva V No.4 to finish the night. Photo-0001.jpgPhoto-0002.jpg20140429_191012.jpg20140429_183226.jpg20140429_193726.jpg

The thought of the rate you guys where smoking at was making me dizzy! I felt full of beans, thinking yeah I could do that, then I had the one at home and bang brought back down to earth haha

Depends if the first hits me with a nicotine buzz i can manage 2 tops
Had a beautiful PSD4 first out a fresh box last night.
Thing with smoking multiple sticks is just taking your time, have some drinks and food don't just sit there chuffing away on 5 sticks back to back with no breathing time lol probably helps if you're not just sat there on your own more of a social thing.
