I watched the most unbelieveably SHITE film tonight called "He's Just Not That Into You".....total f**ing chick-flick pish....awful....anyways...tonight was redeemed by:
    1. Juan Lopez Maximos
    2. Trinidad Reyes
    3. Montecristo Petit Edmundo

..along with a gallon or so of Hoegaarden

A nice way to make up for the dross there Stevie. A good choice in lubrication too mate.

I tucked into a San Cristobal Principe after work: Lovely flavours, but totally ruined with a very tight roll at the extraction end Couldn't improve it either, despite giving it a good poke up the jacksy. Shame.

      JL corona.

Managed a little JL Corona in the morning. These cigars seem to improve even after a couple of months resting and are an ideal smoke in the morning.

Finished the evening of with a Cohiba Robusto and a glass of LBV port.

What are they like Craig? I've ordered a box of JL Panatella superbas and I'm keen to know how the smaller RGs are in comparison to the #1 and #2

I think they are a cracking little smoke Stevieboy. They do not have the same depth of taste or intensity of the larger RG JL, but they obviously have the same character and taste which is typically JL, and if you can leave them resting for a few months they are even better .

I intend getting another box together with the Reyes for when I smoke in the morning.I was smoking the smaller Hoyos for a while there but I think I actually prefer the JL now.

A fake Montecristo #2, courtesy of rokkitsci, that I had to throw away half way through. Redeemed by a Padron Ambassador and some Lion Stout.
Business in the front. Party in the back.

A couple of Rafael Gonzales Panatelas Extra in the late afternoon. Before and after fish and chips before playing, actually.

Nice, Stevieboy. After the first inch or so a lot of spice and sweetness kicks in!

Their size is a bit ladylike, so I'll not be street filming with them.

              THEN...

A mate randomly put four bastard monster stogies fresh back from Cuba via a friend on the bar where we were playing.

I jumped on this Cohiba. I was in my car at 0120 or so ready to hit the road to bed - ROCK AND ROLL - and stayed out in my garden til about 0245 toking it off like the merriest of merrily contented buddahs.

Can anyone make out what it is as a model? I just wanted to get down to business... and BOY it was a Cohiba from the first draw!

My car now smells like a slaughterhouse.
              But I love it.

PS If anyone says it's a Fauxhiba, frankly I won't give a damn.
              She was a hottie.

              Shit.
              This was Saturday. Not Friday.

              Whatever.

              (Apologies for the porn).

Esplendidos I imagine by the look of. Whether it's a caky-fake-maker I'm not going to speculate.

Just a quicky as I'm off to cook for guests.

Nice to see you back in the frame and stick-gobbingly photogenic as always

Aye! Looks like an espi from the pic or mebbe a Siglo V? Looks too thin to be Lancero.

Hang on to your mate Bryan..he's a keeper!

I'm playing in a fete for him soon near Faversham and we will plot more cigar sex.

Spotted, Nic. I drive a Renault Scenic. It is gig-battered by loading all my playing kit in and out of the back, and by rubbing bollards down dark alleys to load in and out of pubs and venues.

I could never keep a car in pristine condition, so I don't bother.

Stevieboy, I'd be interested on your opinion on the JL panatella superbas, I'm on me third box and I think there a great little smoke, mine are 97/98's... I think they are now discontinued and I was thinking of trying the petit coronas or one of the other JL's.

I smoke them at lunch when I don't have time for anything much larger, are they a similar taste profile to the others in the range?

I was just thinking of trying the RG Panatellas extra and certainly will on your comments Robusto...

Hi AC. I should have them by the weekend so I'll fire one up and let you know. I think they were discontinued in 2006 so if they're any good we might need to snap them all up lol

RE DrawPoker: I know Stevie, but my diddy ensemble of cigars doesn't justify the outlay...yet.

And Bryan, you watch that rubbing bollards down dark alleys mate, you'll get into trouble one of these days
