Is it a flat cigar? Or a chisel?

Double puffs every 30 seconds. Very difficult to draw it. Slightly plugged but it worked for the first half.

Windy was negligible where I was. Temperature was a very warm 1deg centigrade.

After the first puff in the second half (if you could call it that), I got the sourness. Did a purge and puffed every 60-90 seconds until it went out (and boy was I glad, really)

Thanks Jeremy and I wasn't hinting, I meant that I'm still waiting to experience it!

Sounds to me like you where puffing too much cause the stick was tight cause it was overhumidified and this is what made it tighter in the second half and gave you the sour note. Nought wrong with the cigar except kept too wet or not given enough time for its humidity to stabilise I try and wait 3 months from receiving sticks that have been in transit till smoking

                Au contraire, mon ami.
Kept at 55 for a week.

However, I was puffing too quickly. That stick can't seem to handle double puffs, I guess

Cheers for all your input wouldn't have noticed without backtracking on my part.

And what was it kept before that a week is not long enough to fully acclimatise a cigar but hay ho maybe you won't treat the next one like a bong and it will treat you better in return

What did Jeremy do to warrant such a rude answer? It is entirely possible that he got a bad stick and I know of many people who dry box for less than a week before smoking...

                      Woah Woah! It's 3/20 not 4/20

In my home humi averaging around 65. Never like having any sticks above 70, really.

Also: do keep in mind my jaded ( for lack of a better word) tongue. Normally don't smoke anything under a year or two old! My trash could've easily been palatable for someone else!

Yip people normally dry box for a day or 2. But that's not what Jeremy did he stored it at 55 for a week. I gave him a reason why he was having a sour taste and a tight draw. But I got the usual type of nonsense reply so I a nonsense reply back

Wait wait, I actually don't understand. Now THAT I'm concerned about. How was it nonsensical?
Everything I said was truthful in itself and provided an antithesis by gauged evidence. I simply disproved your theory on high humidity. Not to mention, I agreed with the puffing to fast one.
If you equate a simple internet friendliness to nonsense, then I would see where you're coming from. But assure yourself so that you don't. It's just the way I convey myself to bring moods uop.

The dry boxing wasn't purposeful. It was a mere accident as I reloaded a humidor a week ago and didn't check for stability before popping some sticks in. So they were kept in an undesirable humidity prior to relighting.

In what way was his response nonsense? He said that he had kept it at a low humidity for a week before smoking, said that he was smoking too quickly, and then even thanked you for your input.

I don't wish to drag this into an argument as I just wanted to make the point that the post was unnecessary and also rude to a well liked and friendly member of the forum so I will say no more on the subject.
