Always good to read of regular cuban vitloas that can still give the WOW factor. I have to agree Steve, Pary 898 varnished always used to have a great rep but seem to have fallen from favour of late, (perhaps due to poorer quality control, heard of many who complained of plugged 898s); with the more exotic ELs & REs apparently taking over for those looking for a wow moment but get a good 898 & it can blow the socks of younger specials.Originally posted by Seriesteve View Post
