My employer decided to institute a new dispatch program at work so I have not had time to post about the Tuesday herf until now. Honestly I am still dragging as I have been pushing 18 to 20 hr days at work.
I started off Tuesday with a LFD double claro. With all the filthy hooligan talk around here I decided to give the candela wrapped cigars another go. The burn line was razor sharp and the cigar had a nice flavor to it. I would pick one up again on occasion but the candela wrap is just not my thing.

Next up was the famed Opus X that I have had stashed away for about 2 years. It was fantastic. Complex flavors, great burn, impeccable construction. To be honest for the price they command you should expect nothing less.
The third of the night was a Monte No.2 that was gifted to me. It was wonderful. The draw was somewhat on the tight side but still wonderful flavors.
The final stick of the night was gifted to me at the event. The picture is not that great but it is a Padilla Signature 1932 robusto. There is an interesting story about this particular line. This cigar was made by Pepin Garcia for Padilla. About 2008 there was a falling out between the two and they parted ways. So there is an original and post Pepin Garcia Signature 1932. I was able to smoke the original Pepin blend. This stick was rolled between '06 and the first of '08. Split the difference and say '07. That is going to put this at about 6 years of age on it. I know there has been some talk on here about NC ageing and if it does any good. Now when the cigar came out it was great. Hands down the best NC I have had in recent memory. The age mellowed it out some more. It was spectacular! I felt a profound sadness when I got done smoking it.

Nice write up! The Pepin Garcia stick sounds awesome! I saw a YouTube video about him and that guy is an exceptional roller!

I received a fiver of plpc from our sponsor and took the opportunity to sit in the sun this afternoon with one. It was a very impressive smoke.
