I cracked on with the PSD4 that I got from Sean in the cigar pass. Photos and a review in the relevant forum but in a word, brilliant!

A CAO La Traviata for me...not sure if John reviewed this stick...if not I'll review it in a bit. Lovely sweet smooth mellow cigar for a Sunday morning.

A Party D4 Butters bombed me last year, although I dropped the bloody thing before lighting a cracked some of the wrapper at the foot (who knows how, it must have caught on something)

Other than that its been a very good start - thank you Jeremy!

never had a D4 before Sheepy?
glad you enjoyed it much more than me though. the draws are always fantastic, but me and ol' Partagas just never seem to agree!

CAO La Traviata .....I think it was the Divino size...
              Size: 5x50
              Wrapper : Ecuadorian Habano
              Filler : Nicaraguan and Dominican
              Binder : Cameroon

CAO normally have very modern looking designed bands and also have neon coloured boxes etc, but this stick looks very classic with a lovely golden band.
I cut this cigar, pre light draw was quite nutty I thought, with a hint of leather.
Lighting was easy, seemed to me just the right amount of smoke on the draw.
From the very first puff I fell in love with this cigar. Lovely creamy smooth taste from the beginning.
The ash was a medium/dark grey....stayed for an inchish, fell just before I could snap it.
I didn't particularly notice a change during the smoke but it stayed a consistent lovely leathery smooth creamy smoke all the way.
I will definitely be adding a few of these to my next order.

I don't like building things up too much, but I do reckon you'd like this stick John.

I have had one before, but didn't think much of it - this one was much better

                          Lighting and 1st draw

Long time since I have smoked an EL
But on 1st draw its powerful full bodied and flavours of dark chocolate and coffee little earthy normal basic flavour of montes for me only got 1 more of these left and I have had these ages
But at present it's started of excellent

Not a bad smoke. But happy to put my money toward more favourable smokes in future.
Got a normal 2007 Belicosos Finos to try for a second time next weekend...
