Spooky, I was beginning to wonder that too. But he is very generous, witness that competition that benefitted Mark. Lets just regard him as an eccentric colonial cousin.

Like RA's but not keen on this Belvederes, think there are many better machine mades than this one but how was the Chicos Martyn? I can never believe how much smoke they chuck out!

I had a Winston Churchill Spitfire. It was a very good cigar. Probably the best NC cigar I've had so far

I think the spitfire's are bloody great, got through a few tins but I'll be honest I'd almost forgotten about them!

what's the monkey's verdict? still needs a few more years in the humidor??
If you like the classic Party Leather/Tobacco flavour then these are on the money. Smoked fine straight out the box. It was very clearly identifiable to the '90 and '91 Lusi's I tried that night too so true to the marca. What I didn't get (from any of them) was the 'stewed fruit' that some say characterises old Party's.

But short answer is the PGR is ready to smoke now.

NB - those two feet of leaves were my first smoke in nearly two months!
