Had a nicely bitter Belinda Princess '97, with coffee this morning in the City, now a Splendid Hoyo Epi no2 in Boisdales, Belgravia. Lovely.

John....We'll take a weekday off at some point and do something similar. Maybe in 3 weeks when I have a week off?

Today I had a very pleasant two hours with a Swag Maduro Spin which was an absolute delight despite requiring constant relighting but then the whole afternoon was fucked up by dropping my Ipad whilst browsing the forum and chatting with you guys. Such is life!

A unusual size cigar this afternoon. Troya Universales. The bad first, it's a machine made so bits of baccy on the tongue go with the smoking. The construction in the first third was appalling, three draws to get enough smoke to get a taste, but last two thirds were excellent. Now the good bit .... the tastes are fabulous, the balance is excellent and it leaves a clean, refreshing after taste. Just a shame that Habanos rather than deleting them didn't think of returning the blend to handmade, though possibly the blend relied on the older pre-hybrid leaf maybe?

Well I'm very impressed with Axa, ten minutes on the phone, paid the ?100 excess by card, brand new iPad Air on the way. Didn't even ask me to send them the pictures.

Thats great now get it wiped and on ebay to cover the cost of your excess. Or get the screen and Alu back replaced and will be as good as new and should only come in about ?200
