As my lovely wife is a bit down today I went for something short and tried the H.Upmann Coronas Junior that I got for Christmas. It burned very well without needing a relight despite the humidity in the garage being 91%, bit boring though.

Kicking off this evening with a San Cristobal Mercaderes. Nice so far. Not very strong with a nice hint of spice. Good first stick to push on from!

Band is in the ashtray. I took it off before lighting...I do have a three piece tweed suit on - think you can see the trousers on the pic...I wouldn't want to disappoint! Lol

Having a Fratello Robusto on the front porch. Grateful to be wearing shorts in this weather! Happy new year all.

Had a Montecristo Petit No 2 which was rather enjoyable! Found it smooth and woody, perhaps not as strong/spicy as the No 2. Some sweetness but not overly, more herbal maybe?

Green notes as I got to the final third but then they are very young.

Ideal 30-40 minute smoke which suits a lot more people these days!

Well worth a try at the right money.
