After a couple of hours dredging the pond and picking up all the leaves the sun broke through. Fired up a RyJ Wide Churchill (damn, the box is getting low!) and spent an enjoyable hour watching the world go by. Another great smoke - every one I have had from this box has been just perfect for me - burn, construction and satisfaction.

The V cutter I bought a few months ago has been fantastic - perfect draws every time. Now I just need to plan my Christmas smoke list!

Plugged and unsmokeable Glad it's "only" a Trini Reyes.

Bad luck. My first Reyes was plugged but I've had 5/6 since and all been perfect.

The first 6 out of this 25 box were great.

Continuing my adventures in Germany - had a Punch Sir John RE at Pieter Heinrich's in Cologne earlier, which was a vast improvement on the one I had earlier in the year in Berlin. but still not great

Now enjoying a HdM Grand Epicure in the Cigar World Lounge in Dusseldorf, which is a much better smoke - I may need to pick up a box at a later date

Sounds like you enjoyed it a lot more than I did. I may have to give another one a go. Haha, did you nearly get floored by the nicotine hit as well? It certainly has a kick

Mate that did have quite a kick.....although had more nicotine hit with others.....I'm sure it gave me the headache though...lol

I do like maduros......but will wait a while before I have another. Especially as fat as that one.

Worth the fiver from cgars though. I do have the other fat one which isn't maduro to try.

Yeah, this cigar certainly made me want to try some more maduros. I'd be interested to see how the standard Novillo compares to the maduro version
