ended up taking advantage of the 15C weather yesterday smoked into around 3a.m. with the final stick until it started raining..... humidity did it some negatives for my stick though
Ended up going to a B&M and picked up an LE11. smoked nice, and might get it again if i don't have to pay $35 for it. Think i'd rate that a good 86

Next up was with the gf in a park because of the autumn winds, sights, and temperature. Was really nice with an iced coffee. for me, the Dippy 2 was actually better than a same aged monte 2 (for me rated 76 whilst this dippy is around an 83). But nothing beats a monte2 with a couple of years on it though!! Note how it turned dark between the stick smoking

Dinner at a restaurant afterwards for my mate's 19th (and first legal drink) He had the Siglo II from 2006 and i had the RYJ Short Churchill. Wasn't too good so tossed it at that length to light up a Hoyo Du Gourmet. I ranked it around 46 and 82 respectively. It was a shame because i thought, i thought, i brought the 6YO Short Churchill. Here's a reminder to label your sticks.

And finally the stick to finish it all off started at 0130 and ended just after 0300. a shame because the rain really started to kick in at around 0240 so the humidity spiked and the final third wasn't as pleasurable as it can be. Ahhhh: Montecristo Gran Reserva.
First third and second third were so smooth and fresh that i even enjoyed sniffing the smoke that came off the stick. It was beautifully constructed, stored, and tasted superb.
I love mild cigars, but i find the issue is that they're not as complex as i want them to be. No.1 problem with Sancho Panza and half of the H Uppmans i've had. Not this stick. Very smooth, very mild, razor burn, and so complex it was different on every draw. Bloody well done!!

Jeremy, sounds like you have a very patient GF, I am assuming she wasn't sitting with you outside after midnioght? Glad you enjoyed the Gourmet, I usally give them around 81-82 myself.
Not sure how to feel about that actually...
Gourm was great! Can't wait for what a 3-6YO stick would be!
