Such a beautiful morning, I just had to fire something up.

Then I got out of bed and now I'm smoking a JL2 in the garden/under the porch.

It wasn't like that really, but I thought I'd slip it in.

          Partagas P#2

Fantastic weather here again this morning(two days in a row!)

In the garden with the P#2 and a cuppa.Great just to be able to smoke outdoors for a change.

Weather is so good here it's probably illegal in this country.

I've just had my third try on a Por Larranaga Petit Corona. The previous two I had weren't good at all. First was very papery and the second was so tight I could hardly get any smoke. I wasn't holding out much hope for this one, but I'd left it for a few months in the hope it would be better.

I paired it with a glass of Sprite in an effort to have something 'palate-cleansing', so I knew I'm not getting the taste of breakfast as well (I get up quite late...). Still a bit tight but it's an absolute delight. Mild and smooth with a light sweetness. It got me licking my lips. Second third added some toast then last third had some caramel too. A bit of pepper approaching the band.

Would definitely go back for more. Probably easily overpowered with a stronger drink.

[EDIT] Hmmm. Works out ?2.70 each from a cab of 50; might be worth looking into these further.

A Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 1 today. Still prefer the no. 2. Quite a hard draw, still great, but no. 2 is my friend.

                  So now I'm smoking a no.2

Cup of Earl Grey on the side - too much Pimms at lunch to have a rum...

                    P#2 and Cohiba day.

                    After the P#2 this morning.

Had a Siglo V this afternoon, first class, big smoke but very enjoyable with a couple of Magners.
Just dragged anther Cohiba robusto out the humi and heading off to tackle that.
Weather here today has been the best for years, fantastic.

After yesterdays disappointment with the Montecristo Sublime I went for the favourite Partagas Series D 4. Perfect, kids torturing my mum in the hot tub and me and the step dad talking cigars and enjoing the sun.
