At the Orrey for the Dalmore tasting. The cigar was an Upmann 2 that was flat but the whiskey and company was great.

From last night, the H.Upmann No.2, very nice it was too, i would say medium...

Ours were non-offensive but had no real flavour profile and possibly a bit wet. We all concluded a poor box.

Three of us had no problems with ours, maybe we were lucky! Plus they had two boxes there so maybe one was better than the other i'm not sure

What did you think of the whisky/cigar combo? The 15 was nice, second (the cigar malt) was very smooth, the 18 i found quite harsh.

I might invest in a bottle of the cigar malt to accompany future cigars :-)

Cigar Aficionado's cigar of the year 2012.

Nothing amazing at all in the first 3/4" but second third really did develop nicely! Just don't know how they rated it so highly, NC's really do have exceptional construction and draw I'll give them that!
