Just dumped a Monte #2. Had a few which have been rancid. Think I must've over-humidified them at some point and forgotten. Moved onto a PE which is sublime. Meh.

Upmann Royal Robusto.
Nice size, and it turned one year old so the proper way to celebrate was by lighting it on fire! (sounds like some pagan ritual)
Anyways. First third was absolutely fantastic. Light like most upmanns with the most fantastically nutty and sweet aftertaste. Like pistachio ice cream only not shite.
Second third quickly got rid of that and third third wasn't as good as I thought itd be.
Ah well. No more of these until AT least 2 years old. Most likely I'll tryy at 3

Just got to the montague. Not sure what to have, either the epicure deluxe or party 2. Either way found some quality old marketing in an old pub off the strand.. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1379092746.312796.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1379092760.162285.jpg
Went with the epi. Little one dimensional - maybe could do with a little more age. Lots of smoke and really nice draw..Last edited by Wid3y; 13-09-2013, 07:18 PM.

It only takes seconds to use plus, the lad in the video is doing it incorrectly. You NEVER want to push the poker all the way through the stick; otherwise, you suck in the hot air and ash, literally!
I generally determine where the plug is and push the poker just past that point, let it sit for a few minutes, then withdraw.
And if the stick needs a touch up, I again push the poker just far enough to clear plug without going through the foot.
That's what I do, anyway.
