De Olifant Panatella, disappointing does not even cover my feelings for this, burn was artificially perfect, no flavour other than chemicals... It burned down in 15 mins???? This is a cigarette is the clothes of a cigar, seriously avoid this at all costs!
I was so disappointed that I lit up the CAO Gold Maduro.........!....!.. Oh good lord, I think I have just smoked my first real cigar. This is a light year better than anything I have ever smoked. This was so frickin good, I am so hyped about it.
The Mrs even came in and asked what I was smoking because it smelled so good, she had a couple draws and in her words "This is better than chocolate, smoke shouldn't taste this good!"

I'm so glad I have tomorrow off because the Mrs has told me I can go out and treat myself to a box of them..... Score!

CAO Gold Maduro.........!....!.. Oh good lord, I think I have just smoked my first real cigar. This is a light year better than anything I have ever smoked. This was so frickin good, I am so hyped about it.

Hahahaha. Just wait for your next Cuban that does that for you. I've said sooooo many were my favourite cigars too until the Monte 2 came around. Then the RYJ Churchill came around.. Then the Trini Fundadores came around... then the maduro 5 came around.
And so on and so forth

But know what? enjoy your days when the NCs are good. You'll appreciate the simpler (and therefore cheaper) things first. That's part of the reason why I'm afraid to tryy the BHKs

I suppose that's the best thing about being right at the start of my cigar journey, I'm not yet jaded by past smokes. In reality the other stuff I have been smoking up to now could be called bargain basement compared to the CAO, kind of like going from nitrogen injected draught to a keg of real ale... I think I may enjoy playing in this league for a bit and probably won't re-stock the cheaper stuff once it's gone.

The even better stuff would probably be wasted on me yet, although there are a couple RyJ's in my Tupperdor that have been giving me come to bed eyes for the last week.

Thwarted by connectivity issues Pete, but trying to rearrange via the recruiter. Just hope I haven't blotted my copybook so to speak... :-) Making myself feel better with a Monte Grand Edmundo..
